I really had to hear the phrase “you are not alone” multiple times, like multiple times, in order to really feel like I was not alone. And I think I am still struggling sometimes to really know that I am not alone, especially when we are working out of our homes, and even at the office, we usually have physical walls between colleagues. That is why I really appreciated my conversation with Reid Murtaugh, owner and founder of Murtaugh Law in Indiana and an executive member of the Lawyers Depression Project. In this episode, Reid opens up about his journey having bipolar disorder II, which is an easily misunderstood and underdiscussed condition not just in the law but also in general. And the message is clear: whatever you do, wherever you are, you are not alone.
